The Department of Humanities offers a course on communication skills to the B.E. Ist Semester students to make them adept in conversation and presentation techniques. The department offers a course on Engineering Economics to the B.E. IInd Semester students wherein the emphasis is laid on providing a sound knowledge of microeconomics, macroeconomics and their practical applications.

         For higher semesters too, the department offers courses on �Organisational Behaviour� and �Industrial Management� to the students belonging to various engineering disciplines. The objective of these courses is to enrich the students about the general behavioural techniques and the work culture of organisations. The management courses offered are aimed at enhancing the business organisation and management skills of the students and also encouraging them to pursue their studies at higher levels or adopt entrepreneurship as a career option.
